Dopo 20 anni passaggio per applicare legge sul #silenzio-assenso

E' stato firmato il decreto del ministero della Salute che contiene le norme del regolamento sul Sistema Informativo Trapianti (Sit), previsto dalla legge n. 91 del primo aprile 1999, che regola il principio del silenzio-assenso sulla donazione di organi. Lo rende noto lo stesso ministero. "Dopo 20 anni è un passaggio fondamentale", ha rilevato il ministro Giulia Grillo, annunciando una nuova campagna di informazione. Il ministero rende noto inoltre che "nei prossimi mesi saranno attuate le altre prescrizione della legge 91/1999, cioè l'adeguamento dell'Anagrafe nazionale degli assistiti (Ana) in tutte le aziende sanitarie".

"Abbiamo finalmente sbloccato dopo 20 anni un passaggio fondamentale per l'applicazione del silenzio-assenso previsto dalla legge sulla donazione degli organi approvata nel 1999, ma rimasto lettera morta, ha osservato Giulia Grillo. "Due decenni sono troppi per attuare una legge di civiltà di cui il Paese ha bisogno.

Potranno così essere salvate molte più vite, ma per farlo - ha proseguito il ministro - i cittadini devono essere adeguatamente informati e consapevoli e per questo lanceremo una nuova campagna informativa".

Il Sistema Informativo Trapianti regolamenta tracciabilità e trasparenza dell'intero processo di donazione-prelievo-trapianto di organi. Il decreto contiene anche disposizioni sul Registro nazionale dei donatori di cellule per la procreazione assistita eterologa, prevista dalla legge 190 del 2014. (ANSA).
